ACTE Challenged To Find University Accreditation For 'Around The World' Education Program

The Association of Corporate Travel Executives revealed some details of its ambitious "Around the World in 80 Hours" program last month during an event in Atlanta, but due to unforeseen challenges, the program "may not have the university accreditation in time for the autumn semester" as ACTE previously planned.

On Location Apps At ACTE

Conversations about the eventual implementation of location-based and augmented reality mobile applications into corporate programs buzzed through the Association of Corporate Travel Executives conference last week. Applications like Foursquare and Layar were specifically mentioned, and observers said it's inevitable that corporate travel managers and suppliers will begin to use such apps to enhance programs and traveler experiences.
