Top Airline...

Business Travel News has rated Delta as the top airline. BTN surveyed over 400 corporations that spend over $500,000 per year on air travel. United/Continental was rated second. USAir was third. American was fourth.

Southwest was rated last in this survey. The reason for Southwest’s poor showing is probably directly related to the respondents of the survey. Read More »

Getting Along Fine Without Clear

The Clear Program is planning to start once again in Denver. A New York company named Alclear LLC says it will honor all members of the old Clear Program. It is estimated the old Clear Program had 22,000 members in Denver. If you had nine months left on your Clear card the new company will allow you to have nine months left on their program.

Worst Commercial Ever...

What do you think of the new Southwest TV ads with ramp workers taking off their shirts and exposing their painted chests spelling out "Bags Fly Free"? I bet you can guess that I think they are just terrible. There must be a more creative way of telling the world that Bags Fly Free on Southwest Airlines. The rental car companies are in a big hurry to start charging you for no shows. The no show rate on rental cars is now approaching 25 percent. We have heard of travelers that make several car reservations with several different car companies and then rent from the company that has the first shuttle bus to appear.
