ARC Data Show Uneven Corporate Trip Volumes In Q4

The number of trips processed by business travel agencies and settled through ARC during the fourth quarter fell 2.6 percent year over year. The quarter was jagged, with a year-over-year decline in trip volume in October, a year-over-year uptick in November and another fall in December. Sabre Picks Apart Verdict In Plea For Favorable Judgment

As expected, Sabre on Monday filed a motion with the federal court that oversaw the antitrust claim it unsuccessfully defended against US Airways, now American Airlines. The global distribution system operator asked a federal court to issue a judgment in its favor, despite a jury verdict that had sided with the airline.
