FEATURE: Reality of Unbundled Faring's Challenges Taking HoldThe article failed to mention that Marc Rosenberg of Air Canada opened the TravelCom panel by stating that Travelport was further ahead than the other GDSs in delivering for Air Canada a merchandising desktop solution, Travelport Agencia, which enables travel agents to book all of its offerings that are available on the carrier’s Web site.
We are in the final testing phase of Agencia and expect to launch a broad rollout in the next two months. It will include the full capability to shop and book all Air Canada products such as Tango and Flight Pass, to select from all available options such as paid seats and upsell, interline flight options and the ability to retrieve and cancel bookings.
