Those hoping for cooperation between the Association of Corporate Travel Executives and the National Business Travel Association will be disappointed to read today's issue of
The Beat, which cites an
ACTE letter that accuses NBTA president Kevin Maguire of "engaging in a pattern of public comments disparaging ACTE." The May 14 letter also contemplates legal action and alleges that Maguire has said the "specific goal" of NBTA is to "drive" ACTE "out of business." Maguire called the letter "blatantly inaccurate."
