INTERVIEW: TMC Exec Tony Shepherd

New York-based Protravel International this week announced the acquisition of family-run Austin Travel on Long Island for an undisclosed sum. Protravel, which among other recent acquisitions also bought Rich Worldwide Travel a year ago, is expected to process $750 million in sales this year, according to the company. The Beat's Jay Campbell spoke with Protravel COO Tony Shepherd in an interview excerpted here.
