INTERVIEW: Travelport President Dave Falter

Welcome to The Beat's first executive interview, conducted this afternoon by reporter Jay Campbell with Travelport president Dave Falter. Travelport is the corporate-facing unit of Cendant, offering products that include a corporate self-booking tool, the Galileo global distribution system and fulfillment. Cendant yesterday announced it came to an agreement to buy Orbitz for $1.25 billion, estimating a $340 to $380 million boost in 2005 revenues as a result.
