AA Aims to Be Touchless with New Fee, Planned Enhancements

American Airlines is investing in new communications services to help reduce traveler reliance on manual intervention, AA senior vice president of global sales David Cush today told the Association of Corporate Travel Executives conference. Speaking with The Beat, Cush cited a similar motivation behind a new $15 fee for reservation center handling of tickets not booked directly. He also told event attendees about plans to use technology to help clients improve contractual performance.
