AA Prohibits 'Automated Re-Shopping' In New Agent, Passenger Rules

American Airlines will prohibit "automated re-shopping," whether conducted by an agency or through a third party, according to updates this week to terms in its travel agency agreements as well as its contract of carriage, which is applicable to all passengers. The change was reflected in updated agent terms Monday and takes effect June 1, according to the airline.
