AA Releases iPhone App, May Partner With ITA For Booking Service Including Corporate Rates

American Airlines last week released in Apple's store a free app co-designed by Media General subsidiary Blockdot that focuses on enhancing the traveler's "day-of-travel" experience. According to AA officials, the airline's smartphone strategy also includes merchandizing, social networking and a robust booking experience potentially powered by ITA Software.
