Sabre Settlement Evidently Removes One Direct Connect Barrier For AA

Years in the making, the Wednesday settlement of state and federal lawsuits between American Airlines and Sabre Holdings appears to mean that American Airlines will redouble efforts to promote its Direct Connect program, perhaps after some other loose ends are resolved. As recently as May, AA officials were blaming the litigation for at least part of the program's slow adoption among corporate agencies.
