Amadeus: Air Fees Could Mean 'Elimination' From U.S.

Amadeus said new $3.50 per segment fees proposed by American Airlines and Northwest Airlines for bookings made in non-preferred channels, including Amadeus, could be ruinous for the global distribution system provider's U.S. business. The company is seeking arbitration and an injunction preventing the carriers from imposing the new fees.
