Amadeus Announces Finnair As First User Of EMD Server, Plans For Agent Tests

The vaunted electronic miscellaneous document may not be coming soon enough for corporate travel buyers hoping to enable and track ancillary air purchases at the point of sale, but it is coming. Amadeus planned to announced today that as of June 1, its EMD Server was up and running for early adopter and Amadeus res system user Finnair. Sabre Holdings last week said it had started EMDs with Sabre-hosted carrier Avior.
