Amadeus Earnings Up 5%; U.S. Weakness Continues

Revenues dropped 2.5 percent in the United States and bookings fell 4.4 percent in North America, but Madrid-based global distribution system provider Amadeus enjoyed strong growth in the rest of the world and posted 5 percent higher net income for the quarter ending March 31. The company also reported 10 percent revenue growth.
