Amadeus Further Diversifies Pricing

Madrid-based Amadeus Global Travel Distribution today said its 2005 airline pricing would include two new categories as part of further development in the company's value-based pricing model. While Amadeus' 2004 pricing is characterized by fees that vary depending on whether or not bookings are made in the airline's "prime" market, the 2005 scheme further segments those parameters based on short- or long-haul travel.
