Amadeus Gains On GDS Share Shift, Growing IT Business

Citing growth in its global distribution system and IT businesses, Amadeus for the first half of the year posted a 6.3 percent year-over-year increase in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization to €645.9 million. Among the half-year business highlights reported Friday, Amadeus claimed a 1.7 percentage-point share shift in worldwide agency air GDS bookings, bringing its share to 40 percent.
