American And Sabre Each Appeal Rulings In A Case That Won't Quit

Ever since a jury handed down a verdict against Sabre on a federal antitrust contract claim brought by US Airways, the global distribution system operator has vowed to appeal. As expected, Sabre filed the paperwork to do so last week. More surprisingly, American Airlines—which merged with US Airways after the suit was filed in 2011—also is appealing a couple of rulings in the course of the nearly six-year case.
