Riding Corporate Strength, CTM And Flight Centre Take Different Paths To Record Fiscal Years

Fueled by a flurry of acquisition activity, travel management company Corporate Travel Management on Wednesday reported significant growth in transaction volume, revenue and earnings for its fiscal year ending June 30. More established and much larger, travel agency conglomerate Flight Centre also reported a record fiscal year ending June 30—but "without significant acquisitions," it reported. Both Australian agency operators saw strength in the U.S. corporate market and claimed client wins there.
