CWT, TQ3 Navigant To Offset GDS Costs With $2 Ticket Charge

Carlson Wagonlit Travel and TQ3Navigant, which expect to close their merger this month, said they would charge clients $2 per airline ticket starting Sept. 1 to counter the costs of participating in new, optional programs offered by global distribution system operators, according to information obtained by The Beat.
