EC Adopts CRS Code Revisions

The European Commission today said it adopted its proposal to "to simplify and modernize the two-decade-old rules" that form the Computerised Reservations Systems Code of Conduct. While the revisions include "safeguards" against anti-competitive behavior by "parent carriers"--airlines that own or control CRSs--many are dismayed by EC's definition of parent carrier.
