ECT Claims $1 Billion

Expedia Corporate Travel's worldwide gross bookings in 2006 exceeded $1 billion for the first time and the travel management company "posted its first full year of operating profitability," according to parent Expedia Inc. Speaking yesterday with analysts, Expedia president and CEO Dara Khosrowshahi cited "record new client additions" during the fourth quarter and said "we expect to see continued global expansion" for ECT during 2007.
