Expedia-Sabre Link Due By Summer, ECT Profits In A 'Few Years'

Expedia should be connected to the Sabre global distribution system by summer, according to Expedia Inc. chairman Barry Diller. Speaking yesterday at the Citigroup Global Entertainment, Media and Telecommunications Conference in Arizona, Diller also said pressure on GDS incentives does not create "much risk" and that profitability for Expedia Corporate Travel is "a few years away."
