As Cendant prepares the launch of its new airline reservation system and other global distribution system providers enhance their products for airlines, upstart Navitaire continues to cause a stir. The Accenture-owned specialist in small airline systems plans this quarter to launch a reservation product called New Skies that it expects will be used by at least five airlines this year.
