GEBTA: Airlines Illegally Charging Different Prices By Country For Same Fare

The Guild of European Business Travel Agents has complained to the European Commission that airlines illegally are offering the same fare at different prices in different European Union member states. According to GEBTA, such sales violate EU Regulation 1008/2008, which prohibits discrimination in access to airfares, and compromise the effectiveness in particular of pan-European service centers operated by the larger travel management companies.
