HRG Expanding 'Super' Platform, Though easyJet Never Connected

Its 2005 experiment with Web-based bookings on easyJet went nowhere, but HRG's "universal super platform" is connecting directly in the United Kingdom with National Car Rental, Purple Parking and thetrainline, HRG executives said last month. Certain tools built on the platform are pegged for near-term expansion into Australia and the United States, enabling further independence from global distribution system technology.
