ITA Deploying Reprice and Reissue Technology

Alaska Airlines last week became the first carrier to apply ITA Software's QPX system for online ticket repricing and reissuing. Alaska will use the technology to empower customers to make changes on their own through the airline's Web site, as an alternative to relying on call center or airport agents. ITA said a second carrier recently implemented the new feature but it did not disclose which one.
