Northwest Responding On Biz Contracts

Northwest Airlines informed corporate accounts it needs about 60 days to discuss new contract terms and created a temporary fare basis code to compete with Delta Air Lines' new simple fares, according to a Carlson Wagonlit Travel memo obtained by The Beat. The Northwest code is 'BF'; Delta's is 'BV.'
