Other GDSs React As Agencies & Clients Avoid Northwest

With Northwest's and Sabre's dispute in the courts, Sabre's competitors are reacting to Northwest's plan to charge travel agencies fees for bookings made in their global distribution systems. Cendant unit Galileo this morning said it would take essentially the same stance as Sabre by denying Northwest 'a more prominent display for Galileo agencies, access to Galileo low fare shopping and flight information tools and access to the full discount' offered as part of their existing agreement.
