Pegasus Buys Wizcom

Pegasus Solutions today said it acquired Wizcom Inc. from Travelport in a move that gives it a dominating position in the global distributing system hotel switching arena. Pegasus said it would "inherit all" Wizcom products--including "GDS and GDS-related products, Internet distribution systems connectivity and data management solutions"--and integrate them within its organization. The transaction represented Pegasus' first significant, external, strategic move since it was taken private in May
