PhoCusWright: Agency Share Loss Slowing; GDS Decline to Continue

U.S. travel agents in 2007 sold about $107 billion in travel, or 38 percent of the total travel marketplace, according to new research from PhoCusWright. When also including online travel agencies, the firm found travel agencies booked half of all U.S. travel.
