After Fruitless Mediation, Sabre And American Eye Retrial

American Airlines and Sabre on Jan. 6 held a mediation conference to once again discuss settling a longstanding legal dispute that dates back to 2011, when US Airways sued Sabre over terms in its global distribution system agreement. An out-of-court resolution remains out of reach, as lawyers for the parties last week during a conference call with the court said each party was committed to a retrial, though it was unclear how quickly they'll get there.
