Sabre CEO Surprised Lufthansa Hasn't Retreated From Distribution Strategy

During an on-stage interview at a Nasdaq investor conference in London today, Sabre CEO Tom Klein said he was surprised that Lufthansa Group has yet to back off its controversial distribution strategy, announced a year ago this month. In Klein's estimation, Lufthansa's commercial actions, which include a surcharge on global distribution system bookings, have not addressed Lufthansa's underlying problems.
