Sabre Cites Flexibility As Passives Policy Takes Effect

Sabre Travel Network's new policy on passive segment usage took effect on Thursday, but it did not come without some "misunderstanding and, in some cases, misinformation," according to STN North America senior vice president Chris Kroeger. Seeking to straighten the record, STN in recent weeks stressed that potential abuse would be examined carefully before resulting in any penalty, and emphasized that many uses for passives are legitimate.
