Sabre Claims Mistrial In US Airways Case As Jury Deliberates

American Airlines and Sabre are awaiting a jury verdict after a three-week federal antitrust trial concluded Thursday with closing arguments. Sabre on Friday swiftly filed a motion for mistrial, claiming the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York disallowed evidence on US Airways' so-called "sign-and-sue" strategy, while, at the same time, the airline plaintiff at trial included "improper publication to the jury of a highly prejudicial document."
