Sabre Escalates Air Canada Penalty

Sabre Travel Network intensified its reaction to Air Canada's decision this week to remove some of its cheapest airfares from all distribution channels except its own Web site. The global distribution system operator yesterday stopped displaying "inventory classes C, J and Y (representing Executive and Latitude Plus products) ... for points of sale outside Canada and European Union countries," according to information obtained by The Beat.
