Sabre: Non-Incentive Cost Cuts Helped Strong Quarter

Sabre Travel Network's average incentive payment now is down year-over-year and at least one recipient, Travelocity, expects incentive dollars as a percentage of total North America revenue to fall from the "mid teens" to the "low double-digits." Those were the only details offered yesterday by Sabre Holdings when quizzed by Wall Street analysts about the bottom-line impact of user incentive reductions and new carrier participation agreements.
