Sabre Takes Another Swipe, Industry Waits

Sabre Travel Network today said it will include Northwest's new booking fees as part of shopping and pricing in the global distribution system for tickets issued as of September 1, when Northwest's charges take effect. A $200 roundtrip would be listed as $207.50 for Northwest, making the airline less competitive in low-fare searches, Sabre said. It's the latest in a series of moves announced by Sabre.
