Sabre Will Cut Headcount By 9 Percent

Sabre disclosed plans to reduce global headcount by 9 percent to achieve $110 million in annual cost savings. The global distribution system operator and travel IT company is "reorganizing certain functions, reducing layers of management and lowering costs to enable a more nimble, faster moving and focused organization," the company disclosed Tuesday as it reported second-quarter financial results.
