Study: Global Business Travel Approached $1 Trillion In 2008

Globally, domestic and outbound international travel business travel spending in 2008 was $929 billion, according to research by IHS Global Insight and the National Business Travel Association. This included $261 billion in the United States, the largest market, followed by China at $93.8 billion, according to a statement issued by NBTA and study sponsor Egencia.
