TMCs Balk at $1.25 Fee for Southwest Segments in Galileo

Several notable Travelport clients are refusing to sign on to a program in which sources said Galileo would charge $1.25 for each segment booked on Southwest Airlines, as part of the participation deal the pair announced in May. That program is at the vanguard of the movement to shift global distribution system costs from suppliers to users, and these travel management company executives are putting up a not-so-secret resistance.
