TECH: Cloud Beckons To TMCs

Upstate New York's The Travel Team in April moved nearly its entire technology infrastructure to cloud computing provider Cetrom, saving what the TMC's vice president of strategic technology Joel Cristall estimated would be hundreds of thousands of dollars on an annual basis. After making a similar move five years ago, MacNair Travel saved more than $70,000 in one year, officials said.
