Readers' Choice Awards: Delta Does A Double-Double

The Beat here on Tuesday announced its sixth annual Readers' Choice Award winners, highlighted by Delta Air Lines for a second consecutive year winning both the Most Admired Airline award and the Supplier of the Year award.

American Express continued to own the payment system category, collecting its sixth consecutive award.

Other repeat winners included Enterprise Holdings, which took home its fourth consecutive Most Admired Car Rental Company award, and Concur, which was named the Most Admired Technology Company for a second straight year__its fourth win in the category in six years.

BCD Travel reclaimed the top spot in the travel management company category, having won an award in 2009, while Hilton Hotels won its second hotel company category award, adding to its 2011 win.

Presented during The Beat Live conference, the awards were based on a poll conducted this summer that asked readers of The Beat to choose the company in each of the six supplier segments they "most admire for its policies, management style and service for business clients." Votes from respondents who chose their own companies were disqualified.
