Travel Agents Sue Major Airlines Over Multicity Fare Changes

A group of airline passengers and travel agents this week filed an antitrust lawsuit against American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines that alleges they conspired to change fare-combination rules that inflated the price of multicity tickets. The lawsuit also names the Airline Tariff Publishing Co. as a defendant, claiming the airline-owned body, which publishes fare data, "aided and abetted" the airlines.
