TravelSky, Sabre Forge Hotel Inventory Agreement

Sabre and China's state-controlled TravelSky announced a content-sharing agreement. As part of the deal, Sabre will add content from 30,000 hotel properties listed in TravelSky while TravelSky's 7,000 agencies in China gain access to more than 100,000 hotel properties listed in Sabre's global distribution system.

The agreement provides Sabre's agency customers with "significantly more choice and efficient access to Chinese hotel properties," according to Hans Belle, Sabre Travel Network's vice president and general manager for the Asia/Pacific region.

The companies announced that Sabre's Asia/Pacific subsidiary Abacus signed a similar agreement with TravelSky.

TravelSky and Travelport in March also partnered to share hotel content. Meanwhile, TravelSky last month completed a connection with Pegasus Solutions, with the latter making available for booking in China its inventory of nearly 100,000 hotel properties.
