Travelport: It's Too Early To Call 'Recovery,' But Corporate Shows 'Strong Turnaround'

Major corporate travel companies subscribing to the Travelport global distribution systems "have made a pretty strong turnaround" and during the past month have booked about 5 percent fewer segments than a year earlier, said Travelport president and CEO Jeff Clarke. This is a "big improvement" over the 19 percent consolidated year-to-date figure, Clarke told analysts today.
