Travelport Reports Bookings Growth, Agent Desktop Update

Travelport reported March quarter growth in global distribution system segments of 6 percent and a month of April increase of 5.5 percent, and said both were closer to 8 percent excluding the company's transition in the Middle East. Speaking to analysts today during a conference call, president and CEO Jeff Clarke also commented on the company's new agent interface, low-cost carrier growth and more frequent fare loads.
