WorldTravel, Two Clients Explore Direct Settlement

WorldTravel BTI and two of its 'very willing' customers are seeking to cut air travel payment costs by remitting to airlines via electronic funds transfer or other direct means. Known as direct settlement, the concept has bounced around industry discussions for years but traditionally failed in the face of big rebates that card companies pay corporate customers as rewards for their business.
