Worldspan Announces AA Deal, Signals New 'Optional' Programs

Global distribution system operator Worldspan today said it signed American Airlines to a five-year distribution agreement that would provide Worldspan system subscribers an "opportunity" to access "comprehensive" published fares, inventory and availability from the world's largest carrier. The deal is scheduled to become effective Aug. 1, the same time Worldspan plans to introduce "two new optional products" developed "in conjunction" with the AA agreement.
