With a reservations system switchover largely behind it, jetBlue Airways and system vendor Sabre are planning this year to upgrade the carrier's CompanyBlue corporate booking portal.
JetBlue Airways plans to test seat assignments and refundable fares, and is open to corporate discounts in certain cases, according to CEO David Neeleman.
American Airlines yesterday said it is working with Cendant to deliver by June of next year a revamped corporate-booking site that includes privately negotiated rates on AA and its affiliates, hotels and rental cars; public rates for other airlines and travel suppliers; and real-time traveler data and back-office integration for reporting, among other features.
Cendant Corp.'s Galileo International today said it signed Delta Air Lines to a seven-year distribution agreement whereby "all" of the carrier's published fares and inventory would be accessible by "all" Galileo global distribution users, including travel agency subscribers, corporate customers and Cendant Travel Distribution Services' online agencies. Terms were not disclosed.
