The Beat Live's annual airing of travel buyers' unabashed views of technology, suppliers and other topics has been a favorite session among attendees since its debut. Now in its fourth year, the always-lively Buyers' Table session features four new faces to The Beat Live community: Cisco global travel director Susan Lichtenstein, FINRA corporate travel services manager Carol McDowell, Graham Holdings travel services director Nicole Hackett and BAE Systems travel services director Dana Rixter. They'll discuss technology and service issues affecting travel managers, purchasers and end-user travelers, and won't pull any punches.
The Buyers' Table is part of an all-star lineup assembled for this year's event in New Orleans, to be held Oct. 6-8. The speaker roster includes Carlson Wagonlit Travel president and CEO Doug Anderson, Travelport president and CEO Gordon Wilson, Southwest Airlines chief marketing officer Kevin Krone and panel discussions chock-full of industry experts.
Returning personalities include United Airlines senior vice president of sales Dave Hilfman (our incomparable emcee), PlaneBusiness founder Holly Hegeman (our unapologetic lunch speaker) and PhoCusWright's Tony D'Astolfo (whose comedic stylings always make The Views panel a conference highlight).
